Malloy's journey began in 1945, founded by Emmett and Mary Malloy in a modest building nestled in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At its inception, Malloy comprised two dedicated departments: Motor Repair and Electric Construction. Fast forward to 1971, Garry and Dianne Jacobson took the helm, infusing new energy and vision into Malloy by broadening its scope to include retail sales of motors, electrical equipment, and power transmission components. 

Since then, we have continuously expanded, embracing growth and innovation to better serve your needs. Today, Malloy operates large, state-of-the-art facilities that include comprehensive machine shops, electronic shops, and motor repair centers. We are proud to say that our facilities can handle the rebuilding of even the largest electric motors and industrial equipment.

Our advanced locations in Dakota Dunes, Omaha, and Mandan are designed with your needs in mind, featuring inside technical support, outside sales teams, a motor repair center capable of servicing motors up to 15,000 HP, a full-service machine shop, an electronic service department, engineering services, offices, and extensive warehouse space. Moreover, Malloy maintains five additional locations, all working synergistically with our headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
