Mechanical Inside Sales Representative
The Mechanical Inside Sales Representative will interact with customers to solve problems through the sales of bearings, gearboxes, and power transmission components and services. This role will quote projects by providing options of products and services working with the Field Sales team and within all departments of the organization. Daily activity of customer interaction involves phone calls and email communications.
Mechanical field experience or knowledge of mechanical components is needed for anyone looking for a change but wanting to stay in the mechanical industry. This is a role that depends on mechanical aptitude to provide great customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct daily sales activities quoting projects, working with product specialists and front counter sales
Perform sales reporting using CRM systems to track performance and customer engagement
Participate in comprehensive training programs provided by Malloy, including product knowledge, safety protocols, and sales techniques
Engage actively with customers to manage existing relationships
Work with the Field Sales team and Sales Manager to provide technical support and solutions
Abide by all safety/environmental rules and regulations of Malloy and customers
Perform other functions as necessary
Skills / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude or related field experience
Basic proficiency in CRM, data management tools and Microsoft Products
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills and customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
